On Friday i bought a new desktop and over the weekend i've been updating the PC with all the critical updates and then i went to do the opitonal updates but everytime i tried to add those update it would end up crashing my PC to where i would have to refresh my PC back to default settings.
What happens is after the update for that installs all of my icons on my desktop go away and my computer freezes and upon doing a hard reset from the tower it'll start like it's going to start normally than the screen will go black and then the blacklight will come on and then i'll go back to the start up screen and keep doing this over and over again until you do a PC Refresh not even doing a system restore will fix it
My PC is a Republic Of Gaming G20 Desktop
This is the optional update i believe is causing the issues, Would i be okay to go on without it or should i take my PC back and exchange it for a new one?

Because of this issue i'm afraid to install any of the other optional updates as afraid they'll crash my computer as well
