Nvidia will release the GTX 1080 Ti prior to Vega launch. The new flagship card will be announced on February 28th.

I hope Asus is selling the Asus ROG Strix 1080ti (cant believe if they dont) soon, because i need this card badly. I wont go for a 1080 anymore, if you heard that it easily can reach 2k gpu clocks easily ( i am with my Asus ROG Strix 1060 OC @ 1930mhz=2102mhz boosted).

I also want a Matrix version since I had one for the 780 Ti and absolutely loved it! Any idea though when it might be released? Is it usually announced a few months after the Strix?

Yes they are, well that's what i was told by one of the ROG guys at PAX Australia.
He said its definitely worth waiting for, also asked will there be a Poseidon aswell but he didnt know anything about one being in the works.
