Hi toronto699

On it as usual again I see.

That was a quick release, I'll give it a go and post a video. 🙂

I just did the update and my start menu has turned into a disco dance party. About to roll back.

Yep, rolling back aswell, sometime my 144Hz monitor drops back to 60Hz. WTH is nvidia doing, they need more beta testers??? How can they release dirty code

Hi Nabby,

I didn't have any sound in my games but had sound at the desktop, I reinstalled it and it seems fine now, my pc isn't having a disco dance party.
😄
After reinstalling the driver all is good, I have a video to post too. Would've had it by now but youtube froze with the upload at 98% so it will be a couple hours until I post it, hopefully it won't freeze this time but yeah performance seems good and all is well after reinstalling. I do a custom advanced install and only install the graphics driver and PhysX driver then check the box that says perform a clean installation.

I removed the video I posted because it froze 12 minutes in, I'll blame Xsplit since the recording was botched too.

New one coming up in 3-4 hours it takes a while to upload and process.

Doom video with the new driver, the recording doesn't look super smooth but game play is.

The next one I'll do with V-Sync on and see if it's smoother.

Here's another video with V-Sync on, It looks good in some places but some places it struggles a little, just wondering if my pc is up to the task of recording with the highest settings.

Are you using XSplit for game capture?

Hi protos

Yes I'm using Xsplit Gamecaster for recording, no capture card is required.

If you have an ROG Strix 1060/1070/1080 Asus gives you a free year of Xsplit Gamecaster/Broadcaster all you have to do is claim it.
