new 2080Ti Nvidia Driver Standard or DCH

Hi All,

I just got 2080Ti to replace my 1080ti. In the past, I was able to use standard nvidia driver.
My windows is now updated to 1903 version.

Before i replace my graphic card. I have complete uninstall all Nvidia drivers.

Now, when i try to install new 2080ti with Standard driver. It gives me error.

However, when I install the DCH version, it works.

Why i can;t use standard driver?

got it fig out. Uninstall all nvidia driver. Remove the network cable. Reboot.
System install Microsoft OEM version of the Nvidia again.
Goto Device driver and uninstall and delete Nvidia related driver. System default to Microsoft standard version. Then I was able to install Nvidia Standard driver. 😄
