is the ROG Strix O11G worth the extra premium

SO I am torn between the ASUS ROG STRIX RTX2080TI O11G and the GIGABYTE AORUS XTREME the AORUS is Faster and cheaper than the ROG. So wonder if you guys have som einput on this.

Maybe is Aorus faster because little higher frequency but I'm sure that could be reached with Strix and good cooling.
I wound not payed same money I gave for Poseidon for Aorus.
Strix have nice quality PCB and ASUS component control.
For me is pretty much simple, if we talk about custom PCB than ASUS or EVGA.
EVGA is great. But if no available option for ASUS or EVGA than rather reference PCB NVIDIA.
I don't know why, but that's my feeling.

You must say how much is cheaper Aorus.
150$ more for Strix not worth.

I would suggest you if you can find for similar price ASUS COD RTX2080Ti Strix.

Aorus Extreme have huge clock 1770MHz, depend of price she is very fast.
She can't be reached just like that with any chip.
Normal Aorus can.
That mean Aorus Xtreme worth buying, Aorus not.

I ended up buying the Strix O11G everything I read says its a better at staying air cooled and can, therefore be clocked higher the Aorus are clocked higher at the gate but seem to overheat a lot faster.

Strix much better. The cooling is great and that will determine the clock speed as well.
