Hey,
I remember just once I bought a single fan 1080 and sold it after a month of use, single fan was not enough and the card was too noisy!
Since then always got Strix 3 fan cards.
But this time I have to get an Asus Dual 4070 or Asus Dual 3060Ti GDDR6X.
I'm just worried if the same happens, how's the dual cooling, much more noisy than 3 fan models? And is cooling system enough for those cards?
BTW, if I get an OC version, may I disable OC permanently and use it as a non-OC model?
Thanks 🙂

I've got an EVGA 3060Ti with dual fans, and it's cooling is just fine. It's never gone above 70C no matter how hard I push it. As far as the 4070, I dunno. The next card I'm holding out for is a 5060Ti, if they ever make one.

And if not 128-bit lìke 4060/Ti :))
The reason I'm getting a 3060Ti GDDR6X now in 2025 🙂

Hello TheBlahBlah
I wouldn't disable any overclocking capabilities.
GPU Boost 3.0 will overclock your gpu past the rated specs as long as you don't hit the power limit and temps are in check.
This is what I call free performance.
You can also overclock it manually, Nvidia has the voltage capped so no damage can be done to your gpu.
