I have a Astral 5090, I run HW64 and the asus app, I get very short periods of over current warning, so far cases I am able to isolate when it happens:
1: Stellar Blade "Only at the victory screen at the boss challenge mode" it will briefly shoot up past 9.2A
2: Resident Evil 4 Remake "Only on main title screen", it will over current to 10A on I would say half of the pins
Playing both games actually is no issues, it only happens during very specific conditions such as described above. Yes I triple checked pins are seated properly, should I worry about it or are there other things I should check.
Thanks

Hi @ROGn8fvasld5zgq
If you're not capping the framerate, then you may be drawing a huge number of frames during loading screens or menus as described, which is causing the high current draw. The warning prompt is there to tell you if there is a power imbalance across the cable. If you continue to receive the warning prompt, consider replacing the native 12VHWPR cable.

Is there setting I can change? like do I have to turn on VSYNC on all games or do I just ignore and having 10A temporarily is fine? Attached is the last game load that I have.

G-Sync/V-Sync will cap the frame-rate in most cases, or you can set a target FPS in the GPU Tweak III UI.
I wouldn't ignore the warning; the imbalance on the cable is enough that you should consider replacing it.

The power cable is actually a corsair cable that came with the 1200W psu, its the 2x8 to 12vhpwr, and the the is less than 2 months old, so I re-plugged the cable and it seems to be more balance, and I reran the game on main screen and got above, will continue monitoring tho.

Not great but not terrible. What PSU, does it not have native 12VHPWR?
