GTX 760 DirectCU Mini BIOS request

encode
Level 7
Hello,
Recently, I purchased an ASUS GTX 760 DirectCU Mini video card. I like it very much, but... The fan speed at idle is too high - 1400rpm (= 39%) and I can't set it to lower values.
I have a highly ventilated case with nearly silent components - all Noctua fans, SeaSonic Platimum PSU mostly working as fanless. So, this new video card is now the loudest component.
Could you please provide me with an updated BIOS - a la Silent Fan Profile BIOS?
My previous video card was your GTX 780 OC and I really liked its Silent Fan Profile BIOS update!
Thanks very much! 🙂

You should bought the CTX 980 or 70 I believe they are fanless up 30 or 35C, plus a lot more juice in return, I'm waiting for the 980 ti or 990 maybe Titan X in other words the one that should come out with dual GPU, so I can pull the trigger on video cards for my final rig.

I understand your concern, the GTX 760 Mini is quite loud with values between 30dB and 37dB while idle. Maybe you're lucky and Asus will hear you 😉
Can you post your vBios of the GTX 760 Mini here?

Well, I like its Mini footprint - I have an ITX rig. And it was the main reason I sold out my huge GTX 780.
As to me, I will wait for 9xx DirectCU Mini - maybe ASUS will incorporate some Strix ideas to this upcoming(hopefully) product! But for now, I'd like so see a new GTX 760 BIOS from ASUS!
