I am having some real trouble with this card, i have tried everything losing my mind. I have an asus viii formula z170 mobo just installed the gigabyte 1080 FE computer starts did DDU got rid of all graphics drivers clean install hotfix driver .51 also tried this with .39 and .25 ran stress test score was same or lower then my 980ti gold 20th. I have the latest bios and the latest 1151 win 10. When i start fallut 4 crashed immediately, wont even start the game. Put my 980ti flawless nothing no problem, back with 980ti sometimes i ge an annoying buzz from speakers and on e in a while i driver stop responding and has recovered. But with th 1080 right from loading driver crash driver crash. And if it not that then it just restarts the whole computer randomly over and over. Computer is basically become useless with this card.

Any recommendations please i need help with this.

what version of W10 do u have?
If you are installing the GeForce GTX 1080 on Windows 10, please make sure you are on version 1511 or higher. This is a requirement for Pascal cards on Windows 10.

Hi Bde135

This could be a ram related issue seeing you say it goes into a boot loop.

On the extreme tweaker tab set the VCCIO voltage to 1.25v and the CPU System Agent voltage to 1.25v, you can try the Dram voltage safely at 1.40v.

For 64GB of 3200MHz ram you will likely need to tweak those voltages, this could be the cause of both gpu's crashing.

On another note I'm surprised you can pass a stress test but games are crashing, if raising the voltages above doesn't help try your system at default settings.

Bdel35, was this issue ever resolved? I'm having the exact same problem. What was your solution?
Thanks,
