I’m looking to upgrade my gpu, I have a prebuilt g10ce pc with i7 9700k processor 16gram and a rtx2060 gpu. Can I upgrade to a 40series gpu, will it fit in the prebuilt case and is there anything else I would need to update to run a 40 series graphics card? I looking at the 4060ti.

You will have to measure in your case to see if there is room. I am not sure what case you have, but the 4060 ti is a pretty small card comparative to a 4080 or 4090 so you should have room. The Asus dual for example is 227.2 x 123.24 x 49.6 mm so if you measure it out in your case and you have room length wise for the 227.2mm you should be good to go.
The Asus website recommends a 650W power supply for a 4060 ti so as long as you have enough power to supply the new card it would work. As far as installation, it is pretty straight forward. Once the new card is in you will simply go to the NVidia app and update your drivers. I would also check windows update and make sure everything is up to date there as well. Once everything is updated you shouldn't have any problems and it is a pretty seamless upgrade. Hope this helps 🙂
