GPU Tweak not allowing 120hz on reboot?

I have a gtx770 dcu2 oc an recently swapped to a 27" 750d samsung monitor (using display port). Every time windows boots up in 120hz gpu tweak tries to swap back to 60hz. The screen flashes a couple of times and it asks me if i want to keep the new refresh rate.

If i click yes it drops back to 60hz, if i click no it stays at 120hz. In tuning i have the refresh rate set to 120hz so aside from running another program im at a loss with what to do next and id rather not swap programs as im quite happy with whats already running.

Hello Vexxx,

Have you tried setting the refresh rate in the Nvidia control panel?

Display, change resolution, there you can set the refresh rate.

Hi,
Yes the refresh rate was only ever set at display/change resolution. GPU tweak was for some reason stuck at 60hz even though i set it to 120 so was always trying to go back to 60hz. When i installed GPU tweak i only had a 60hz monitor so thought it might have been confused since software is software. Did a quick re-install and all seems good again lol. Go figure
