Hi there I wanted to know other than the animation on the Software would turn red if incorrectly seated or giving weird amps is there a audible warning the software does? Or am is it only simply on me to look at the Green pins it shows when staring at the software. I guess what im asking for is what would I be seeing if there was a warning or what would I hear if it went off.

Hello katanda2
If all lights are green, you're good to go.
I doubt there is an audible warning, but if any of the pins are red, this is a sign the 12VHPWR cable needs to be reseated or replaced.
It's also good to check the 12VHPWR cable for even pin depth across the cable connector.

Do i need to check evreytime on GPU Tweak III power detector if any pins going red or just for the first time and forget it ?

Hi @katanda2
There should be no need for frequent rechecking of the power balance unless unplugging and replugging in the connector.
You can also use the OSD to monitor the power balance, it will give you a warning.

Hi @silent-Scone,
can you tell us why this warning appears when you use Futuremark after activating PowerDetektor+?
Or is this just an edited screenshot to show WHERE the warning appears?
Edit:
I just saw that this Power Director+ is only available for GPUs like the RTX 4090 etc.
I just installed the GPU Tweaker III 1.8.8.0 but unfortunately this option is not available for my little TUF RTX 4070 ti.
OK, it needs a lot of power and I use a 12VHPWR cable from Seasonic with a 90 degree angle to 2x 6+2 PCIe connectors, as my SeasonicPrime GX 850 power supply does not have a 12VHPWR connection.

Hi @inge70
As far as I know (as I don't have a card in hand yet), it's simply a visual warning as per the screenshot when an unusual balance is detected.

Thanks for your feedback.
I just found out that this display is not available for my TUF RTX 4070 TI. Seems to use too little power 😂

And that's not a bad thing! 😁

Hi i found this post.
I have a weird problem I guess with the Power Detector. Yesterday after a fresh Windows install all the pins were green in the benchmarks or in gaming. No matter what it was stable all the time.
Now 1 day later after a fresh start on the pc, I have red pins everywhere in every game and benchmark. I didnt unplugged the cable or had any hard shaking on the table or the case. The cable didnt move an inch.
So I hope someone may have an idea what causes this.
As a power supply I have a new unused Lian LI 1300w with the native cable from it.

Hi @Rittai
Can you take a screenshot of the balance underload?
