In december I bought a GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5 and I found the quiet fan bios update on the support page and used it to update the bios on the graphics card. Worked like a charm. The bios version on this card is now: 80.10.3A.00.13 (P2083-0020).
Early January I bought a second GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5 and switched it out with the other one to update the bios with the quiet fan update. This time however the updater displayed a warning that this card wasn't compatible with the quiet fan bios update.
The bios version of this card is: 80.80.21.00.3B (P2083-0021) and has a higher minimum fan speed than the quiet fan bios update on the support page.
So apparently the bios on my new GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5 is newer than quiet bios fan update.
When can we expect a new quiet fan bios update that will support the newer bios version cards?
