Battlefield 3 on ASUS GTX660 OC

hi guys i bought a ASUS GTX660 OC at the start of this year and put it in my pc. I played Battlefield 3 abit now but somehow recently the game is starting to lag on me at sub 30fps especially when i got on a jet. I try run some benchmark on the card and got about 1450 gpu score on 3dmark vantage which is abit unusual cause I checked on different sites like http://www.overclockers.com/asus-gtx-660-directcu-ii-graphics-card-review, http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/asus_geforce_gtx_660_directcu_ii_top_review,14.html and most of them score at least 2000. The cards drivers is up to date but could it possibly be the game cause at the start of the year when i just got the card it ran fine and i havnt overclock or change the settings on the card.
Please help

It depends what CPU you have to get higher scores on benchmark.
What is your CPU? you could be having a bottleneck or unstable NVIDIA drivers.
Case: Antec 300 Mini Tower Motherboard: GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 (rev1.3) CPU: i5 2500k @ 4.5ghz Cooler: Hyper 212 EVO GPU: GIGABYTE GTX 560ti (950mhz) RAM: G.Skill 8 GB DDR3 @ 1600mhz PSU: Corsair CX 750 Driver: 320.00

So you were playing BF3 just fine at the start of the year?
What is your spec?

There benchmark is different because they have an higher end CPU.
It might be unstable NVIDIA drivers or possibly needs registry cleaning.

CCleaner: (Great application to clean registry files)

http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

Try go back to this NVIDIA drivers:

http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/59641

You must uninstall the NVIDIA drivers by using driver sweeper first:

If its only for BF3 you only have troubling with, try re installing the game or change to restore settings on NVIDIA control panel.

Give it a try on this fr3d , and try to re-install the driver again.

You might also check your res/refresh rate. If your refresh is not native to your monitor it could be problematic. Also check your power managent options(windows, bios, GPU, ASUS) and msconfig for running services/background apps.

my spec is:
Mobo: ASUS M5A99X EVO
CPU: AMD phenom ii x4 810
GPU: ASUS GTX 660 oc
RAM:Gskill 2x 4gig @1333mhz
PSU: XFX xxx 850w

i thought gpu score is the gpu itself and 3dmark score is gpu+cpu score?
I usually run the game at 1400x900 or 1280x1024 @75Hz refresh rate on a 19" screen

EA are under a massive ddos attack and have been all week causing people not to be able to connect to server's and some serious lag ingame.

yea i think thats probably why

It's been rediculous and should have been sorted by now. Our server's have been near empty all week because of it. It takes anything from 1-50 attempts to connect to a server and once in it's either mildly laggy or massively laggy. On siene crossing the other night it was totally unplayable as i ran from alpha flag to charlie and was instantly back on alpha 😞
I know EA have been proper dirty lately but whoever is responsible is going about things in totally the wrong way enit.

yea apparently they gonna shut down battlelog to put some update hopefully that will fix it. I thought it was something wrong with my graphics cause i see everyone else runs fine and mines just like teleporting.
