Hey All,
I have the ASUS ROG G750JS 17-Inch laptop.. it's been an awesome machine.. I have Windows 10 on it with the latest NVDIA 870M drivers installed.
If I run the laptop display with an external monitor (non-hdmi), the video playback is fine.
As soon as I hook up a HDMI monitor to the HDMI output, video playback slows to a crawl.. Everything is in slow motion. Youtube, local video files everything.
Can't believe this should be happening with the horse power of this machine.
And I am confused about how the graphics card interact. There is the INtel graphics card in the machine along with the NVDIA GEFORCE 870M graphics card. Which card drives what port?
Why should the video playback come to a crawl?
thanks for any direction you may give!
Harold
