Dear medeforum lovers.

I have been in possession of the asus poseidon GTX 1080Ti for a couple of weeks. The video card is water-cooled naturally: D The card will be max 65 degrees only the fans will also turn around. This does not seem to me if the video card is water-cooled seems to me. Is this normal or I have a broken card?

This is the first time I bought a GPU with a presinstalled water block. Always found it a little too hot for my taste but as long as it's stable, who cares. Found this topic looking for OC results. Temp is now stable at 51 degrees C. Asus should give this VGA holder for free with this sagging 1000 Euro card...

LOL LOL LOL, temp rising was because AI Suite lowered the fan speed. 😄

The samples we have appear to be fine. Looks like we have 3 cases here, but we will investigate if more are affected during production. In case anyone else is having this issue, just tightening the screws is a minor thing, but due to the warranty sticker - best to RMA.

Another option is to invest in a vga holder which prevents sag:

Hello,
I want to buy this accessorie but I cant find anything at all on the net(Amazone,Ebay etc).
Maybe Asus stop the production of this part?
Thanx

Found this thread after finding my watercooling setup (with lots of rad space) was hitting 84C... Tested the propping up and it dropped it by 30 degrees - this was at 4K with everything maxed.

have found a variety of things people use to prop their various 1080's up with... one of my favourites that made me shake my head...

$1600 (AUS) Graphics Card... fixed with a 5c (less?) recycled KFC sippa straw... Come on ASUS... can't even find the ASUS VGA holder for sale in Australia...

Watch this space for my own propping solution.

I'm wondering if they ever actually made them...seems only the Cooler Master one is available most places I look.

Yes, there is only cooler master on the market but I ask if Asus made a new one...

Got the same thing. Using a RedBull-Can as a support.....Better cooling now.

Kinda ruin the looks lol...Asus? Could you send us a GPU Holder/Bracket?

Now when RTX2080Ti cost so much I will search for good price for GTX1080Ti Poseidon when price drop.

This card seems to be hard to find though. At least in Germany. Hopefully they will redesign it and make a better 2080ti version.

In my country is still available but 1020 euro price.
In Hungary have only one seller he ask 1150 euro.
That was his price and in others when card was available, I paid 580euro with warranty but used.

My GTX780Ti K|NGP|N sag little, for Poseidon I still didn't saw because it's in horizontal position on table.
I have option in case Lian Li to install vertical GPU bracket but I need to get rid of dedicate sound card, I can't find PCI-E x1 extender.

Or if they sag I have option to buy some custom holder for 12-13 euro.
He stay below GPU.

Have this removable parts to fix distance if you want, it's better than ASUS solution from site.
