asus gtx680 2gb vs 4gb

i know this has been posted many times but i just cant seem to find the right answer i really wanted to get the 7970 matrix but for some reason thay are either sold out or discontinued so im left with the GTX680-DC2T-2GD5 or GTX680-DC2-4GD5 but i just cant seem to make up my mind i really like the first one bc it has higher clock speeds

Where you are looking, is there much of a price difference. Really the 4GB varient is going to be more suited to gaming at resolutions of 1920x1200 and above.

it depends.. do you want to sli? do you have space for the gtx680 top? it's a 3-slot card

I would prefer the 4gb version for being 2-slot, and SLI.. but if you just want one card (dont wanna SLI) and playing at 1080p, get the top
