Asus GTX 780 TI DirectCU II OC keeps crashing.

Sharky0922
Level 7
During gameplay, but not always, PC is crashing. Definitely because of GPU.

I setup fan on 70% or user define and most of the time temps wont go over 55 C
But when it crashes gpu gets very hot cant see what's the temp since it crashing.
Any way to check it somehow?
I can play couple hours and its not a problem. But then again i just play 1-2 min and its crashing.
Its new pc. Just made it last week. Fresh os an all. New drives All new parts. And not my first rig.
3rd time i buy high end GPU from Asus first time it happens.

GPU temp: Idle - 25 C, Game : BF3 - 47-53C , Wargame RD 45-50C
CPU temps : Idle - 26C. Game - 34C

Sys spec:
i7- 4770K
Asus Formula VI
Asus GTX 780 TI DirectCU II OC
Samsung 250GB 840 EVO
Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1866Mhz CL9 Dominator Platinum
Corsair 860W AX860i
Microsoft Windows Pro 8.1 - 64bit
Drivers: GeForce 335.23

And while got those crashes yesterday was checking flow with my hand and got caught by GPU fan..and broke of 2 blades.
I know.. you dont have to say it 😞
Had to broke off another 2 across cause imbalance was making it so loud. But it still dosen't go above 55C.

Any ideas what's the story before i try to go to Asus support?

EDIT
was just playing game, and without any reason whole pc crashed. Now temps on gpu were fine. it wasnt too
hot so I dont know. Maybe its not gpu. 😕

Hello Sharky!
Are you overclocking at all, anything? Have you tried re loading the drivers, as I have seen that suggested. I get crashes but not unless I'm pushing my GPU past 187 without enough voltage. I just crank the fan with EVGA percision, also use it for overclocking the GPU .
