ASUS GTX 670 DirectCU Mini: Small Size, Full Power

While Nvidia’s GTX 670 tries to buck the trend with a small 6.75″ (~17cm) PCB, it’s always fitted with a far larger cooler. ASUS has instead matched the cooler to its 17cm PCB length, which is ideal for the smallest gaming builds. Here’s a first look at ASUS’ new GTX 670 DirectCU Mini.

Congratulations ASUS - well done. Now when/where can I buy one in the US? I've been using AFOX HD 7850 single slots for ITX builds for surveillance systems using the P8Z77-I. Just recently we started using the EVGA GTX 650 Ti 2GB, which is a similar form factor to this new card (double slot full height 7 inches). This new card really fills a niche for us, and can't wait to find one. So far have only found one on the Australian site PCcasegear mentioned by Silent Shadow above, and on ebay from Hong Kong for more about $550 delivered. In the past, I have found that PCcasegear wouldn't ship to the US. In our experience, AMD cards aren't as useful for the type of video processing we need, but the 7850 is just a lot faster then the 650Ti, so having this 670 would be awesome. Please make them available! I'm going to bite the bullet and pay up for one, and hopefully have it by the time I get my first P8Z87-I!!!!

Now available for pre-order at the Egg for $399. Release date May 20.

MSI has a GTX760 made for ITX builds. It's very short like this Asus card. Asus going to release anything new that's this short?
