Hi @kampers

Those scores do seem low, you're right to question them. I know you're probably going to sigh at this question - but have you tried removing the riser and connecting directly?

Now, I do use a UPLINK GEN 5.0 riser and I don't have issues, however, I would certainly try to rule this out.

Also inspect GPU-Z and check the GPU has it's full ROP count.

I have the same issue on my 5090 astral but not as bad as yours. I saw benchamrks on youtube of certain games and almost every game i have aroud 10-20 fps lower, even though i got an astral thats clocked way higher than in the benchmarks. So removed my 5090 and installed it on my old system with a i7-13700 and i got 10-20 fps higher and it varies with certain games but most of the games just had higher fps than my brand new 9800x3d system. Also i have an issue where if i dont use on every single game "perfer maximum performance" option on nvidia control panel, my gpu would just randomly keep downclocking from 2895mhz to around 1100mhz which causes a nasty stutter, When i turned off g sync the stutters were gone so its probably a gsync problem still not sure yet. Also putting my ram speed from 6000mhz to 6200mhz gave me a couple of fps. though but maximum performance is my fix for it. Here are my specs.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
GPU: ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 OC Edition 32 GB
MOBO: GIGABYTE X870E AORUS PRO ICE
SSD: Crucial T705 2TB PCIe Gen5 NVMe M.2 SSD
RAM: CORSAIR DOMINATOR TITANIUM RGB DDR5 RAM 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30
COOLER: Lian Li Galahad II Trinity SL-INF 360 All In one CPU Cooler
PSU: LIAN LI EDGE 1300W Fully Modular ATX 3.1 & PCIe 5.1 80-PLUS Platinum

There's definetly wrong with my system but idk what is. maybe a bios setting or what not

That GPU make me crazy ....

Driver Version: 572.83

Now in Assassin's Creed Mirage and Assassin's Creed Valhalla in benchmark i get 60fps and GPU Clock / 750 MHz.

Sometime in 3d mark i get on 15,700k https://www.3dmark.com/sn/4758818

Day after same profil i run 13k....

Never haven't problem with GPU like now
