2 way sli reference asus gtx 980 with no oc

So i have a problem guys, when i play games in sli my texture seem to flicker time to time. It's like you're walking 1 way then from nothing texture disappear and appear (0.02 sec) or there is like insane flickering on grass or fur ( far cry 4 for example) . It's not an issue with monitor because it works fine on 1 graphic card, also desktop and videos also work fine, this issue is only with games. What might be wrong with my sli? Cannot swap places between them because it's watercooled and it's pain in ass to switch them 🙂 . I'll post the photo how they're positioned in my rig.

Hello Cesare1993

You could try reinstalling the Nvidia driver. If you still get flickering after that try another sli bridge, preferably a 2 way if you have one.

If you do have a 2 way sli bridge install it first then reinstall the Nvidia driver.

Tried to reinstall, nothing changed , gonna buy sli bridge but is there a 2 way sli bridge which can reach my graphic card )?

Does this happen every game? If so, name a few. Also are your cards overclocked?

It happens in DA:I in Far Cry 4 in Assassin Creed Unity. Tested in Lord of the Fallen **** happened as well there but it was fixed with alt+enter. CS:GO No issues, Dota 2 issue with shadows ( but only while waiting for other players to download, it's like reflection in water flickering and shadows too ) battlefield 4 didn't notice any issue.
EDIT n1: Tried to play lord of the fallen, ghosting + flickering on light and textures when i alt tab. 😄
EDIT n2: Battlefield also has flickering

Yes, a 2 way sli bridge should have come with your motherboard and it will fit.

For 2 way sli, you should be using the first red slot (A1) and the black slot (B2).

well it was assembled by shop and as i said it's licquid cooled so it's gonna be kind of difficult to place it in another slot 😄 . That slot in which it is right now is no good? also couldyou show me how to connect 2 way sli bridge with that bridge which i had by default from motherboard?

I would suggest draining your loop and installing the second card in the black slot B2. When you use slot A1 and B2 both cards are working directly from the cpu.

When you have the second card installed in slot A3 you are using the plx chip which introduces a slight latency. So if you have the time to drain your loop and install the second card in slot B2 and use a 2 way sli bridge, I do believe your problem will be solved.
