1080 Strix weird squares appearing

Had this card for like 5 months, but now those squares appear on screen and sometimes there is weird colors appearing. Has anyone encountered this? I tried to contact the asus "Support" but apparently they do not support this product in my country, not sure how you can't support your product just cause I am in a different region :(. The graphic card seems to also disconnect and reconnect when the squares become intense, when it reconnects they go away for like 3 mins but then they come back, after sometime of this nothing becomes visible and can't really see the screen properly. Had to switch to my old 780 and everything is fine so it seems its an issue from the 1080. 😕

Can you list your complete system specifications for me? Please include Windows and NVIDIA driver version. 🙂

Specs:

i7 4770K 3.5 @ stock
ASUS VI MAXIMUS FORMULA
CORSAIR16gb ram DDR3
Geforce drivers: 376.33
Was running a Strix 1080 08G (didn't overclock it)
Windows 10 x64

Sorry if anything is missing 😞 and thank you

Also please list monitor and how you are connecting to it HDMI, DP, DVI etc.
Ive seen this only once and it was a bad DVI cable.

Do you have your GPU Overclocked?
install CPUZ HW monitor and check your GPU temps

well i didn'toverclocked its on factory settings didn't change anything, the temp is usually on 35 - 40c. but i have noticed that this issue does not appear when the card is on a higher temperature i had it run furmark for like 2 hours max temp stayed at 81c and no squares or cutting off, ran fine for a bit, but then those squares appeared 😞 i can sense them mocking me.
