In addition to ensuring peak performance, stability, and compatibility, driver updates also help defend PCs against security threats. To simplify the process of updating drivers, we launched ASUS DriverHub, a driver management solution that automatically detects and updates drivers.

Unfortunately, we need to apologize for a recent issue regarding DriverHub. Earlier this year, the DriverHub development team was made aware of vulnerabilities CVE-2025-3462 and CVE-2025-3463. These issues were addressed with a comprehensive update released on April 17th, 2025, but the length of time it to took develop and deploy this update was less than ideal. We should have gotten this update out to our users more quickly, and we apologize for the delay. Currently, we're conducting an internal review of our cross-team communication and vulnerability response strategies so that we can issue vital security fixes in a timely manner.

The latest version of ASUS DriverHub, which includes critical security fixes such as these, is always installed automatically. With the fixes aforementioned in place, you can be confident that your system is safely receiving the driver updates that it needs.

We're grateful for the efforts of community members in drawing our attention to these vulnerabilities. We welcome all reports about security-related issues incidents and privacy concerns, and we invite you to contact us about such matters via our dedicated website at https://www.asus.com/securityadvisory/.

I recently built a new PC. Initially suprised that ASUS Driver Hub was automatically installed on my PC. Found out later that it was installed by the BIOS.

ASUS may think it great to install software on people's machines. I would prefer if ASUS didn't take that liberty. Especially frigthening is to find out that ASUS Driver Hub had a vulnerability that allowed hackers to exploit the PC.

Anyways, there is no version number on the Driver Hub software. This is important so that consumers can verify that the Driver Hub software is current.

Another thing that ASUS should be aware is that the Driver Hub software doesn't load properly using the Brave browser.

I installed Driver Hub multiple times until I opened the link in the Microsft Edge browser. Then it finally worked.

So, not happy with the approach that ASUS has taken. Much better to allow users to download Driver Hub from the ASUS website. And it would have been better if the software didn't rely on a browser.
