X870E second pcie slot for ssd?

I wonder if I can use the second Pcie 16x slot for example, another m.2 ssd nvme without halving the gpu lanes or overwhelming the chipset.

By the way, I will use many of the USB A connections at the back (most of it not full speed) of the motherboard and I'm using the three m.2 slots which do not share or cut gpu lanes (m.2_1, m.2_4,m.2_5) also one of the sata ports.

My board: X870E-E Gaming Wifi7

Thanks.

Hey,

I guess it's possible. You would have to acquire an Asus Hyper M.2 x16 Gen 4 card. However, I'm concerned about one thing. On Asuses website, it states that it supports chipsets TRX40 and X570. I'm wondering if it would have a problem for backwards compatibility.
