This is a bit weird....Windows 7 in UEFI

So, with Windows 8.1 i can turn CSM off and UEFI is just fine.
But I really wanted to stick with Win7, so I boot from DVD in UEFI and follow the instructions in another thread which seems to work.
I've checked my install and its definitely in UEFI - my RAIDR is also in UEFI mode and Windows boots fine. However, as soon as i set CSM to off things go a little wacky. It boots, I see the splash screen, hear the Windows 'Chime' but never get to the actual login screen. If i go back into the BIOS and turn CSM back to Auto it all boots up fine.
Anyone come across this?

This is exactly what I am currently trying to sort out. Currently running Win7 Pro.

Did you update the firmware on the RAIDr?

with win 7 you cant disable csm, just set everything to uefi only, at least with my RIVE ;- )

CSM control is Win8 only as has been indicated.
