ROG Frot Base Sound-Issue

Hey Guys,

i've bought me a new Asus ROG Front Base. First i've made a new BIOS-Update, then ive installed a few drivers and a new version of AISuite 3... Everything works fine, overclocking, hiding screen and fan-controls... but only the sound. Maybe i've made a mistake, but i can choose what i want in this Realtek-Audio Manager, nothing works...
I also can choose those EQ-Settings with the Front Base (for example "Racing" or "Music" etc..) or the volume, but i've got no sound.
I've tried it with AC97 and HD-Audio, both doesnt work... I dont know why.
When i put a audio-cable into the back of my rig, the RT-Audiomanager pops up with a hint of "cable was disconnected or connected"
But when i put a cable into the front of the ROG Base, nothing pops up or something...

Thanks for help! And sry for my not so good english 😉

Hi - just things to check - you have plugged the audio cable to your internal audio connector to you RIVBE and is it enabled in your Bios - you have installed the correct audio driver for the RFB - it has it's own sound driver - check under your device manager - I had the same problem and found that the cable connector on the RFB was not inserted totally -

Hope this helps

Thanks for the quick reply, but yeah ive checked everything...
I saw that the Power-cable wasnt connected totally, but nothing changed..

After a few hours work and keyboardsleeps i found the fu**ing problem! (But i think it wasnt a problem - more than a trick)
I started my computer until its working, then i've done it like plug & play at running system!
Ive connected this AAFp-cable again and see there it works! A second later the popup from the audio-manager comes up and says audio-cable connected!

But now ive got a new problem, evertime theres a crackling and jittering noise.. I changed my volume from my headset to minimum and have to change the VOL from my computer to hear very clear sounds... (and its only at the Front Base, not at the back of my RIVBE)

Thanks for help!
