I guess I'm one of the lucky ones in that I actually have a semi-working FrontBase!
The CPU temp displays a temperature (not always the exact temperature), the CPU frequency is usually about right (but this too displays what it feels like when overclocking the CPU), and I can't use the front mic port because of background interference.
But at least I can control my fan speeds! 🙂
However if wanting to revert back to the Auto control of fan speeds as set by the BIOS settings, how do I select this?
My PC was auto controlling the fans and the FrontBase was displaying the speeds. But now that I have chosen to manually select a speed there appears to be no way to get back to the Auto speed control? I've tried setting it to zero on the FrontBase but this just stops the fan completely. I'm really disappointed with this unit, its all looks and very little function!
Come on ASUS, surely you can do better than this!
