Asus rog raidr speed problem

Hello I have a problem with my asus rog raidr,

It is a very nice product, very easy to install and works quite fast.
But I checked my sequential speed for read and writes on "CrystalDiskMark" and it doesn't go as high as it should go. I have the 240 gb version**, so normally it should be 830/ 810 MB/s sequential read/write speed but i barely reach 700 mb/sec for read speed. This is why I post this message. How can I make it go faster, must I change something in the Bios, or is the product defect...?

here's the specs of my pc:

*Motherboard Asus rampage IV extreme*
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4930K CPU @ 3.40GHz
Memory (RAM) 64.0 GB
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 2GB
Primary hard disk 116GB Free (223GB Total) + 1Tb Velociraptor

I thank you in advance for your answer, have a nice day!

Thank you a lot for you answer DragonClaVV, it is exactly what you said. I get up to 700 with AS SSD and up to 800 with Atto. I feel now reassured that my ssd is working correctly, so this post can be considered as "resolved " ^^
Thank you a lot people, have a nice day!

Indeed the spec numbers are made with ATTO. But keep your RAIDR on the red slots 🙂

I quickly did a test while I was rendering a big project.. so maybe the performance were a bit lower... but here is a screen ;

Thanks.

Ive to say that i was a little bit disappointed with the 4k because i had some 840 pros here which have over 30mb/s. Well it doenst really matter because the drive ist fast enough but i expected a little bit more than 20.

RAIDing won't help you much at all with 4K reads. They don't scale. They depend on the actual drive and the 840s are great drives.

Yeah i know that. Its a great drive and i use it but i just expected more from a 200+ device. nothing bad about that right 😛

Want better results? send the RAIDR back, buy 2 SSD's and RAID them together yourself, expect close to 1K read/write speeds.

the results vary on my raidr , last time I got more than 30 mb/s for 4K... funny
