Hello team, I hope everyone is doing well.😁
New question about my ROG MAXIMUS Z890 HERO with an ULTRA 9 285K, a 1200W Bequiet, and a ROG Strix 4080OC.
Now that I've introduced myself, I bought this RAM kit. I should point out that I checked the manufacturer's specifications, so the kit was compatible with this motherboard and with XMP. So I bought this kit:
Kingston Technology FURY 64GB 6000 MT/s DDR5 CL40 DIMM (Kits of 4) Beast RGB XMP
P/N: KF560C40BBAK4-64
Initially I tested the Kit in XMp with the bios, upon receipt of the product, therefore the bios Number: 0503.
So, the pc, after XMP profile one activated, started well on the bios, but I ended up with a bios whose pixels were random and not functional. So I clearcmos, restarted from factory, installed Windows 11 Pro and updated the bios to its latest revision, the bios: 2201, Of course, I previously updated the ME to the number: MEUpdateTool_19.0.5.1992V2_T
The PC boots well, everything is stable, performance is good, but the RAM is 4800 on these four sticks, because I haven't reactivated XMP.
Question: I'm afraid to reactivate it, but for the more professional, normally with an updated BIOS, XMP profile 1 should be stable, right?
I know it's not the most optimized to start with four sticks, but I'm a content creator.
Of course, I specify, the 2x8 CPU pins are also correctly placed.
The photo is not the finished PC, I haven't put the GPU in yet, it's coming.
Thanks everyone, see you soon
