Hello all, I have a quick question about using the SlimSAS port with a ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฆ๐๐๐ 4X to 4*SATA๏ผ๐๐ ๐ -๐๐๐๐ 38pin to 4x๐๐๐๐(7pin) Cable, 100CM cable connector.
I have never used SlimSAS before, so I have no idea how it works, what it's actually for, but I am assuming, after doing some searching, that it can be used just to add additional SATA/Storage drives to a system.
I want to add just 2 backup drives to what I have already, but all my SATA ports are being used and I have 3 M.2's going in slots _1 _2 and _5.
So, question, I don't see any conflicts in the user's manual, but are there any limitations or downsides to using the SlimSAS for additional Sata storage?
thanks
