At first look, it looks great with 32-bit 384 kHz resolution an integrated ESS® ES9219 Quad DAC capable of reaching -114dB THD+N and Dolby Atmos
Then I realized it created a nightmare for me,
How and what? I will be able to connect to this board? I do not have font 7.1 HD audio and I think this connection is only for a headphone, but if you can use this for speakers you have to show me which one because I can't find any 7.1 speakers. I have Logitech 5.1 speakers but they have regular 3 coloured jacks so, in this case, they are junk, the optical S/PDIF out port only supports 5.1, so Logitech Z906 will work in 5.1 config but will it play Atmos? I don't think so. What else we can connect to the board? Are there any soundcards, receivers, or amplifiers, to do the trick and play 7.1 or 5.1 with Atmos? I found ULTIMEA 7.1Ch and 5.1 Ch Sound Bar for TV with Dolby Atmos, will it work? there are some promising options. optical probably can play 5.1 with Atmos, what about HDMI connecting through a video card will it use the integrated ESS® ES9219 Quad DAC, and 7.1 Atmos? Let me know what you think and what you will use for sound with this motherboard maybe we can find a solution. You may already figured it out and will give us the answer to this challenge settings
The scenario is simple it is not your surround system in the living room or basement, it is a small computer room and you want to watch movies/concerts with 7.1 or 5.1 using Almos. It will be probably too much to ask if we can listen to music with 32-bit 384 kHz resolution sound but let's try.
I'm going to start replacing the old system in a week or two, and it will take me probably two more weeks to install and config the new parts, I already have a Maximus Z890 Extreme, Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, DOMINATOR® TITANIUM RGB 96GB (4x24GB) DDR5 DRAM 8000MT/s CL38, Corsair MP700 PRO SE Hydro X Series 2TB PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe for my C: drive, and two SAMSUNG 990 PRO SSD 2TB PCIe Gen4 for DIMM .2 slots, for my workspace, TUF NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 4080 Super OC, and I will use one of M.2 slots for adding more SATA drives I need minimum 7 the board has only 4 all the other staff will be re-used, my old AX1600I power supply should work with the new system.
For my extreme cooling :). I'm hoping my raystorm pro Socket 2066 CPU water block will fit on the new board. I Still need a water block for the GPU and so far I like and will order the Corsair Hydro X Series iCUE This is the system built in 2020 only the network part was updated so now is the time for the computer to be rebuilt, pictures on Corsair site System build 2020

The Optical cable won't do Dolby Atmos. You need a coaxial or HDMI cable.
I have the Logitech Z906 and use it with a Z890 Hero board.
