“Load VGA Bios” error code 79 on ROG Maximus Extreme

My Asus ROG MAXIMUS Z890 EXTREME gets stuck on Load VGA bios error 79

I have to do a bios recovery to load into windows. After a windows restart or cold boot I get the stuck on the error

I have tried different memory, nvidia 4090 graphics cards and config.  I have also disabled on board graphics.

l have had very little use of my computer

I’m on bios 1501 (other bios’ don’t work either)

Can anyone help.  When is the next beta bios ?

Checking the ASUS q-code table, code 79 = CSM initialization.

CSM  =  Compatibility Support Module. 

When using older devices, CSM may need to be enabled for compatibility.

If everything in your pc is new or fairly new, you'll want to disable CSM.

Check in the bios on the Boot tab CSM is disabled.

In the next beta bios for ROG MAXIMUS Z890 EXTREME can you unhide/enable CSM options in boot tab for me to change settings.

I'm using the ROG Strix Z690-F Gaming Wifi, our bios's should be similar for the CSM option.

Try setting yours like this and see if you get the CSM option.
