You must go into bios and press F5 to reset to default. Once you do that the option to select 200S boost will appear. Memory speed is limited to 8000, so if you have it set higher than that the option will be hidden.

I have done everything you've said to do and it's still not showing up anywhere. Where "exactly" is this setting under in the bios? What tab? What section? Cuz im not finding it anywhere

For this to work, you must be using an ASUS Z890 motherboard with the bios upgraded to version 1801. The bios must also be set to default, which is accomplished on ASUS motherboards by pressing F5 while in the bios. I am using a ROG Maximus Z890 Extreme motherboard with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor. The memory is 8400 MHZ CUDIMM. There are two versions of the bios setup screen, one is EZ mode and the other is Advanced mode (press F7 to switch between the two). The option appears on page 2 of the Advanced mode bios setting screen. The option appears next to the overclock tuner option. Send screen shots of your bios if it is not there.Screenshot 2025-05-03 215839.png

so this is what my bios is showing. My motherboard is a asus rog z890 hero. It's updated to bios version 1801. Also my overclock tuner doesn't show all of those choices. Just docp 1 or 2

From Intel:

200S Boost is an overclocking profile designed for unlocked Intel Core Ultra 200S Series processors (e.g., Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 265K) when paired with compatible Intel Z890 motherboards and appropriate Intel XMP memory modules (DIMMs). This allows users to achieve higher fabric, die-to-die, and memory frequencies, resulting in a performance boost for low-latency workloads like gaming. In addition to potential performance gains, eligible Intel Core Ultra 200S series processors will retain the three-year limited warranty provided by Intel.

I cannot determine from your screenshot if you are using an unlocked "K" CPU and Intel XMP memory modules. Can you please supply that information.

My cpu in an intel core 9 285k series 2.  Ram cards are 2 trident z5 neo rgb 16gb ddr5.

The only possible issue I can think of is the memory.  Intel tests lots of memory modules, but it is not exhaustive; contact them to see if they have found it compatible with their 200S boost design.

It seems that the Intel 200S Boost feature might not be immediately visible in the BIOS settings.

If the option is not immediately visible after doing a bios reset, perform a system shutdown, start, and reenter the bios.
