Hey guys i have an ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ROG STRIX Z890-E GAMING WIFI with the latest bios firmware 2006.
A few days ago i noticed after i locked my PC and the monitors went off , the USB ports of the PC would not respond anymore , mouse or keyboard would not wake up the screen or PC. I tries to plug them into other ports or unplug/plug but that made it worse. Unplugging the mouse or keyboard and plugging them in another or same port would not even give power now.
I am really not sure what the issue is , since this didnt happen right after the BIOS update which i did at least a month ago but rather last 2-3 days. It could be a Windows update maybe or is it some kind of hardware malfunction ?
Anyone facing the same issue or can offer some insight on how to test this properly ?
I am on Windows 10 latest patch.
