So i have had this issue for a while and i am posting here so that maybe what i discovered helps someone else.
I had this strange issue where whenever i left the pc running during the night it would sometimes freeze and not wake. Initially i thought it could be the GPU, some driver issue maybe , so i have tried rolling back drivers, disabling the Intel arc and intel gpu driver , disabling wifi/bluetooth drivers.
That didnt solve my issue . I also tried messing around with power settings to disable sleeping of various devices etc. None of that worked.
I have updated BIOS to the latest version and rechecked all drivers still nothing.
Then i dag deep and found out about C-States. Apparently this sis a common issue, when c-state is enabled there is a high chance the pc will freeze and not wake up. So to solve this you can go into your BIOS and disable C-States. They are supposed to save power it seems , but the power savings is negligible and not worth all the issues that come with it.
P.S: has anyone tried the latest BIOS 2201 , how is it ? Any improvements ? Is it Stable ? Any issues?
