I recently built a new PC, and I'm encountering a BSOD with the message "HYPERVISOR_ERROR" when launching games that use Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC), like Fortnite and Rust. I've also noticed that after restarting, Memory Integrity is disabled. Interestingly, all my other EAC games are running without any issues. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

I also removed me XMP profile and disabled AI optimization.

Thank you sir. Will give it a shot tonight! Interesting that you updated to 24h. I heard it was unstable. But I will try anything to get this working.

Yes. It seems to be windows. Upgrading to 24h2 seems to work. I thought it was unstable, but it works perfectly for me

This worked for me, thanks. I did:

1. uninstall wsl2

2. turn off every hyperv check box in the turn windows features on or off

3. reboot. as instructed by windows 
4. uninstall Fortnite via epic launcher

5. uninstall epic. I opted to uninstall epic launcher with revo uninstaller pro (30 day free trial, why not) as Dumvamp was successful, it was alright.  Probably found some reg keys and binary files that epic left behind. it first ean the actual uninstaller from epic and then did a sweep for leftovers. 
6. this didn't really get rid of any easy anticheat Services though and I didn't see it listed in Revo. So I Deleted the easy anticheat Services entries myself via the services.msc snapin and removed the files in the program files\easy anticheat\ folder (there was a sys and exe file each of them were linked to the services just removed).

 

7. join the dev channel of windows insider and download install latest updates confirm 24h2 (build 26120.2222 for me as of nov 17 2024). If 24h2 has landed in the beta or release preview channels would suggest you stay there. 
8. go back into turn windows gestures on or off and enable hyper v ("Hyper-V" including all sub items and "Windows Hyper Visor"). Restart as it wanted to in order to finish this. 
8. Download epic and install it

9. sacrifice a goat

10. open epic launcher and install Fortnite. 
11. Reboot as I gather my senses it's do or die time.

12. Open Fortnite. 

13 accept uac on east anti cheat and it should load first try. Please report back with your findings to those two try this!
