I have had an ongoing issue with my ProArt intel system that appeared 6 months in. Stock intel settings and no OC. Sometimes will not POST and not enter bios screen. Gets stuck in an endless loop. I'm thinking it may be related to the CMOS battery but I don't know an easy way to test that. BUT If I shut off, then reinstall the latest BIOS via flash USB stick, the system comes up to BIOS and then boots into Windows fine. Then the system runs with no issues. If I put the system into sleep mode also no issues on wake. BUT If I shut the system down, almost every time, not every, it will not POST and when it starts, the yellow LED comes on for a while, red LED comes on, then back to yellow in an endless loop. It wil not get past this point. If I jump the "Reset CMOS" pins, the next boot it will POST with Yellow, then white LED and green LED. Bios opens. if I reset to factory and Save and Exit, I'm back to the same endless loop of yellow red LED. The ONLY solution I have found is to Flash Bios from USB stick. This then allows the system to POST and boot. Nothing has solved this. ASUS TS. Tried various bios versions, removing the Nvidia graphics board, removing and even purchasing new RAM. At this point I can't think of anything else. I saw someone soldiered a new button cell onto the board behind the IO heat sink. But that is pretty drastic. For now I am leaving the system in sleep mode. Def seems like a corruption of the bios.
