Hi @Trmarlin

The updates are for all SKUs, it should ideally read

1. Update to uCode 0x129 (including both K & non-K).
2. Adjusts non-K default from ASUS Advanced OC to Intel Default Settings.

13900KS / 8000 CAS36 / ROG APEX Z790 / ROG TUF RTX 4090

Thank you, Should be rewritten to be clear.

On a slightly different (but kind of related) matter, taking the Z690 Hero as an example, why does the standalone Intel ME updater offer version 16.1.27.2176 but the ME version included with the BIOS is 16.1.30.2307? It's been like this for a good while, so it would be nice if the team updating the support pages checked the versions offered. The ME version offered by MoKiChU is 16.1.32.2418, which has been available since May and is working well.

Z690 Hero, 12900K, BIOS 4001, MEI 2433.6.3.0, ME Firmware 16.1.32.2473, 7000X Case, RM1000x PSU, ASUS TUF OC 3090TI, 2 x 16GB Corsair RAM @ 5200MHz, Windows 11 Pro 23H2, Corsair H150i Elite AIO, 4x Corsair RGB fans, 3x M.2 NVME drives, 2x SATA SSDs, 2x SATA HDs.

Hello everyone. I am also worried about this issue. My English is not very good. I am not sure about the explanation in the bios description, "The new BIOS includes Intel microcode 0x129 and adjusts the factory default settings for the non-K processors, enhancing the stability of Intel Core 13th and 14th gen desktop processors." When I applied to Asus Turkey service, they said "A new bios will be released for K processors, please wait". However, I am not sure they understood the issue. Should I install the currently released bios? I am using my motherboard with an i7 13700KF processor.

Hello,
Thank you for clarifying the issue. Unfortunately, Asus Turkey service officials told me that a new bios would be released for K series processors and that I should wait.

I am sharing the answer given by e-mail in the attachment. This is not a nice situation.

"Hello,
Thank you for contacting Asus,
The BIOS version for "K" series processors will be released as soon as possible, but I cannot give a definite date. You can check this issue from your device's page.
Thank you for choosing Asus."
