I have built two machines that are mostly identical.

i9 14900k

Asus z790e gaming wifi ii

2x32 g.skill ddr5 6400

Msi 3080 gaming x trio 16gb

Artic liquid freezer 360

Same bios settings

Windows 11 Pro fully updated

One is running great and the other keeps giving fltmgr.sys failed bsod.

I have reinstalled windows a few times on the one that is throwing the errors. I've ran memtest86 overnight with no errors. I have ran cinebench 10 minute test and the highest temp I've seen is 95c.

I would think a bad MB or memory would show up during the tests.

Am I missing something?

Some info I forgot to put in the OP.

It runs well for the most part. I've had a few tabs In firefox crash.

The BSODs generally happen after exiting a game (every time after an hour or so on Jedi Survivor)

if a machine is throwing errors then reinstalling will not do anything. what errors are you getting? you have have a faulty ram stick/sticks.

but without knowing what kind of errors no one will be able to help.

Hi @CamIAM

First thing would be to ensure that the system is not overclocked. Have you cleared the CMOS and tested stability at optimised defaults?
Please note that XMP is classified as overclocking.
