It's been now few days that I noticed a really slow post when starting the computer.
It was about 7-10 seconds before and now it's about 32-40 seconds.
There is like 30 seconds before even seeing the the asus logo to enter or not the bios.
I updated today to the new BIOS 1703 including the micro code 0x12b but it does not make any differences. I'm also up to date either in armory crate and windows 11.
I remember as well some update in armory crate like MBDII recently. Could it have an impact ?
Looking at the Qled code, I can notice that it's staying a while on 99 and then return to 98 and come back to 99
Any help or feedback would be really appreciated.

My previous build Maximus XII / 10900k / 64Go ddr4 is booting in 15sec
This current build Z790 Dark hero / 14900ks / 98Go ddr5 is booting in 30-40 seconds (only since few days / weeks)

Yes, I have the same problem. When you disconnect the computer's power several times, you are more likely to encounter Q99 when the power is turned on. You should not cut off the power while it is working 🙂 Even though there is nothing on the motherboard other than the stock fan, I get the Q99 error. a solution

I would try slightly lowering clock speeds in BIOS and/ or fresh reinstall of windows

Z790 Dark Hero has the 1704 as the latest BIOS. Can you upgrade to this latest BIOS?
After the upgrade, perform a CLEAR CMOS followed by F5 to load the defaults and F10 to SAVE and EXIT. Do not enable XMP or make any changes. Try to shutdown as well as restart your Windows couple of times and check if your boot times have changed/improved.
What memory kit are you using? Are you mixing kits or is it a single kit for your total system memory?
It appears your system may not be able to complete and save the memory training which could be taking extra time on each start.
Once you CLEAR CMOS and use F5 to load defaults, it should enable FAST BOOT which should help save the memory tuning and speed up the boot times if the memory training on this new BIOS gets completed successfully.
Good luck!
