z790 raid 0 recovery options?

Whiskyjack

Not sure how as this was a simple case swap but I just bricked a z790 maximus hero swapping cases. There was much self loathing and despair.

Anyway the system had a raid array - Are there any options here? Would another 790 chipset read the array or even an add-on raid card that would read the array in different system?

Thanks.

Another Z790 should be able to read it. I have swapped motherboards (even different Intel chipsets)  and they were just detected, so it should be good with the same chipset. Just make sure you have the Intel raid drivers installed in Windows.

An add on raid card probably won't work.

PS: backups are your friend.
