I am not sure how bifurcation works.
I have a GPU in PCIE x16 slot and m.2 nvme ssd pcie gen 4 in slot 1. That means I am already using x20 which is max available by the CPU.
The board has 2 more extra nvme slots. Slot 2 is right behind GPU and slot 3 support sata.
Let's say I put in another gen 4 nvme into slot 3, assuming that slot 2 will be hotter than slot 3. Does that means the GPU slot will be in x8 instead of x16?
Is there a way to have GPU slot x16 while having the other nvme slots occupied? Maybe using gen 3 nvme?
Or both slot 2 and slot 3 of the nvme slot will not work since x20 is already used up?
