Has anyone tested it yet?
Is it good?

Did Asus fix Windows Power profiles? I mean extreme CPU throttling issue in Windows 10 after C1E state are enforced.

I have apex encore so it’s different it’s 1801 latest bios I locked all core to 6000 and 4400 while idle and while on load I’m during memtest now I’ll photo you later the exact setting you need to change

intel Core i9 14900KS SP108 MC SP95 P-Cores SP122 E-Cores SP81 | ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Apex Encore (BIOS 1703) | 2X24GB G.Skill RAM 8600MHZ CL38 OC/Tuned | Nvidia RTX 4080 ROG STRIX

I think I am having the same issue. I am 99% sure it's a single setting that's messed up, maybe two. Can you post your BIOS settings in .txt format? I would like to compare. But please photo me to!

sure z790 hero 1801

Here is the BIOS in txt. format. I hope it helps. Very cool computer you have. Here is link: https://www.kischtech.com/RKischBIOS.txt

Cheers mate, it's cool but not useful so far, it's even weaker than 13900k

You will have it chewing through games in no time at all. My BIOS is 1801 ROG Strix Z790 Wifi II. I hope it helps. Cheers!

Have you tried manually setting your core ratios as opposed to using AI Optimized?

Yes I had my set to 5.8 for PCores and 4.4 for ECores. It worked great but on heavy workloads it kept being throttled by excessive heat. With the AI overclock it doesn't happen.
