Anyone else getting boot loops with their Z790 Hero with the new gskill 7600 ram? I got the F5-7600J3646G16G and it's on the approved ram list with the hero but I'm getting bootloops at xmp and even at 7000 I'm getting ram errors.

if that window for return passes and the stuff is not solved I think that's a no brainer :))

I was thinking the same thing. They just don’t want to fool with it.
MZ790A Bios 2002, GSkill F5-8000J3848H16GX2-TZRK, 13900KS, EKWB D5 TBE 300, Seasonic Prime TX-1600 ATX 3.0, Asus Strix 4090 w/ Optimus block, Phanteks Enthoo Elite, Asus Claymore 2, Asus Gladius 3, Asus XG349C, Samsung 990, Windows 11 Pro

It‘s ridiculous seeing the Z790 boards not working stable out of the box with higher memory speeds and XMP profiles, like advertised by MB and memory manufacturers. What did really change since the last generation? Why is all this 7200+ memory on the QVL list, when it does not work properly? It seems the only qualification is the sticks being mechanically compatible.

Aha! I would have been surprised if that kit was actually working on a regular, "off-the-shelf" Asus motherboard :))

6400 for DDR5 should be like 3200 for DDR4... but not for Asus I think.

And I got my Hynix A-die sticks all ready to plug in.

I hate the ROG MOTHERBOARD CURSE!

The rumor is: ASUS purchased DDR5 dimm slots that don't function properly and they are still installing them onto new Z790 motherboards.

So you might get an Apex board with 2good dimm slots, 1good and 1bad, or 2bad dimm slots.

Mr. Shamino CANNOT FIX hardware issues with bios updates.

It's not his fault.

It's a Quality Control Parts Issue!

7000? We need 7600 and 8000 as ADVERTISED and PROMISED.

I don't buy 7600 sticks for 7000.

I think it would be nice if Asus were to send you a Z790 Apex board for testing/review,.. the gesture would indeed go a long way.

ASUS SEND me a PRE-TESTED Z790 APEX board, I will pay for it entirely 100% and $200USD added for pre-testing - you absolute jerks.
