Z790 HERO bios

Hi, I have the ROG-MAXIMUS-Z790-HERO-ASUS and the only bios that doesn't give me errors when testing the Windows 11 memories is version 1303. Conversely, the 3 latest versions, 1402, 1501 and 1801 give me errors of memory. Could anyone give me an explanation? Is it the bios fault?

I have the same issue with an ROG STRIX Z790-E GAMING WIFI, only BIOS 1303 is stable with 2 sticks of xmp 7000 ram.

I noticed same with z790i, slightly better memory stability with 1303. One remedy is flashback bios then ME to 1303.

Another is set MemController 1.4V, Transmit 1.22V, slow to below XMP and gradually work your way up.

From 1402 onwards intel changed ME which likely altered mem training to allow for newer 24 and 32 gigabit chips, so older 16Gb chips may not train as well with later versions
