hi there, after struggling with booting problem

https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/previous-forum/asus-z790-hero-fail-to-boot-after-shut-down-q-code-55/m...

it was the ram issue. and i return ram to seller.  G.Skill F5-6000J3636F16GX2-TZ5RK. but instead repalce with same type they send me G.Skill F5-6000J3238F16GX2-TZ5RN with amd expo mark at the box.

in bios it say d.o.c.p not xmp, but when i active it still working 6000mhz at system.

question: is this safe use amd expo ram to intel board?

did d.o.c.p make same result like xmp to performance?

also this ram not listed at asus z790 hero qvl. make me somewhat worry.

i use it almost 1 day until i post this, play overwatch 2 without problem.

Yes, it's safe. The memory profile is just data that is input by the memory vendor onto SPD (Serial Presence Detect) on the module. Some secondary timings may be different, but not enough to notice any performance delta.

hello mr. silent _scone i conssidering for buy a 2x24gb ram at 6400 speed.

with code F5-6400J4048F24GX2-TZ5RK

but this code not in asus qvl yet, but in g.skill qvl it was registered. need ur advice

or i must take 2x16gb 7200mhz?

still bit scare about high speed ram, coz have bad history with z690 hero + 6000mhz ram

If it's on G.SKILL QVL you'll be ok. The memory vendors tend to update these more frequently for obvious reasons. Results with 24GB modules seem to be good. The further you lean towards the board's maximum validated frequency, the less chance of plug-and-play can be expected.
