Z790-E WiFi BIOS update

I tried to update my bios to the latest version on the ASUS website. I can’t get into the BIOS past the AMI screen. My motherboard is showing code 98 on it. I spoke with ASUS support and they had me install the bios update again using the flashback and clear the CMOS, when this didn’t work they had to escalate my case so I’m waiting for someone to call me back. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this? I’ve had my PC for about a year and haven’t had issues operating it.

Hello Cal35

Try a different mouse and keyboard.

Try different outputs on your gpu, hdmi, displayport.

Try with the onboard cpu graphics.

Try enabling/disabling CSM.

Thank you! I was using a wireless keyboard and ASUS said this didn’t matter. I tried a wired one and this resolved my issues. Thanks for your help!!
