Your issue might be to do with range, the 6E signal drops off a lot faster than the 5G band. Try moving your PC closer to your router as an experiment and see if that helps. If the problem is just as simple as range, then you might just get better speeds from the 5G band. I've been lucky with 6E and I do get better speeds, even through two walls and being 10-15m away from the router, but it can depend on the location of your equipment and the transmission power of your router.
