I'm having an issue with my new build where the system won't boot with XMP enabled.
Specs:
- Mobo: ROG MAXIMUS Z790 DARK HERO
- CPU: i9-14900k
- RAM: Corsiar Dominator Plantinum RGB 64GB - 6400 MHz (CMT64GX5M2B6400C32)
- Graphics Card: ROG-STRIX-RTX4080-O16G-GAMING
Before purchasing mobo, CPU and RAM, I reviewed compatibility. The RAM kit is listed on the HCL for this motherboard on ASUS's site for 14th gen processors.
It boots fine on bios defaults, but when I enabled the XMP profile it tries to boot and seems to go into the memory training process and will run the process for a while but then eventually stops with Q code 55.
I have updated to the latest bios for the board (version 0506)
Any thoughts?
