So I decided to use the Dimm.2 card finally with my z790 apex. I have a m.2, 5.0 as my main drive, 2 4.0 drives on the MB and 2 4.0s in the dimm.2 card. The issue I have is that I am running at half speed with the two m.2s on the Dimm.2. 3000/mbs read/write instead of 6k R/W. Am I missing something? Why isnt the Dimm.2 running at full speed. It shows the drives as running at 4.0 in crystal mark but they run at half speed. Is the bifurcation with my 4090 and the m.2 pcie 5.0 card eating all the lanes or something?
So I did a test and swapped the dimm.2 into my older mobo and the red led lights came on and it ran at 4.0 speed. There must be an issue with the dimm.2 slot on my apex then right?
